MBBS Program Structure

The MBBS program at Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a 6-year course that includes one year of internship. The program is structured in five distinct periods:

Year 1: Pre-medical study with English instruction, focusing on building foundation in basic sciences and English language skills.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

To pursue MBBS at HUST, applicants must meet the following requirements: completion of high school education with science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 25 years for admission; qualification of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) with qualifying marks; English language proficiency demonstrated through IELTS or TOEFL scores; and two years of study experience in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Applicants need to submit high school transcripts, a high school diploma or proof of graduation, NEET qualification certificate, IELTS or TOEFL score report, passport copy, medical health certificate, and a completed application form with supporting documents. The application process typically opens in March and closes by July each year.

Hostel and Accommodation

The university provides excellent hostel facilities for international students. Accommodations are available as single, double, and triple rooms with separate hostels for men and women. All rooms are fully furnished with beds, chairs, tables, TV, air conditioning, and other necessary items.
