Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy representing the Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy was founded in 2004 by Professor Tan Sri Dr. Hj. Mohamed Haniffa is the Pro-Chancellor and Executive Chairman of the MAHSA Group. Professor Dr. Haniffa is a clinical physician whose vision includes creating a tertiary institution in Medicine, Biosciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Nursing, Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, and Engineering in the Southeast Asian region.

This vision of producing qualified and compassionate professionals to meet the needs of our nation is in line with the Prime Minister's view that Malaysia should be a center of academic excellence. The new 48-hectare Bandar Saujana Putra is an example of this. Today MAHSA University has students from 75 different countries.   • The MABSA MBBS program is a five-year program. Divided into 2 phases, phase 1 consists of 1 and 2 years and phase 2 3 to 5 years.

MAHSA University's on-campus accommodation is located inside their 2-block Residences building. Available rooms range from one en-suite, twin sharing to four shared rooms without air conditioning, with essentials such as study tables and chairs.
