The number of patients receiving high-tech medical care is increasing. In 2014, Polenov Russian Research Institute of Neurosurgery became a branch of the Almazov Centre. At the end of 2016, the Rehabilitation Clinic for Children and the Pre-Clinical Translational Research Centre were put into operation. The Centre uniquely and harmoniously combines the basic and applied research in various fields with the delivery of diverse specialized medical care, including high-tech, and continuous interdisciplinary training of scientific and medical personnel.
